Get the Facts - Links
These links to news media sites of published interviews and other county-wide and local forums speak for themselves. Most people do not understand economic development, takes at minimum of 3-5 years to physically see the fruits of the efforts that transpire behind the scenes... to actually see visible progress. Economic Development colleagues recognize the amount of accomplishments achieved by MCDC under Silvius's rein as outstanding and remarkable - from the very top at out national and state leaders, down to our regional and local leaders. This is why MCDC received one of 4 (out of 1600) Best Of Iowa Awards February 2020 selected (without applying for it, but based on merit) by the Iowa Economic Development Authority and MidAmerican Energy!
